Painting of a Pheasant
This painting is very close to my heart, this simple little painting was the very start of my painting career. The sense of achievement and purpose was life changing, when I look back at the simple colours used I am taken back to that day when I first picked up a paintbrush.
View down our street
Having completed my first painting, I was brave enough to get another! This was another small step forward, one thing about this I do remember, I ran out of the white paint supplied-so you can see in the sky the clouds are a different tone of white.
Chapel
This painting is again very important one for me, this is the very first painting that I designed and painted, I got my inspiration from an old Christmas card. I inserted the people and the little dog to make it authentic.
Horses by the Waterside
Having now painted horses and people I wanted to paint a summer countryside scene, having lived in the countryside for a number of years this scene was very close to my heart.
The London Coach
This painting was a very first one where I decided to put people in my painting, it’s basically a straight copy but I enjoy the challenge.
