Fireworks

Under Painting
This painting was very different for me, I started by underpainting the whole painting in black paint and added some highlights in the foreground.
Adding Shapes
I continued adding shapes in the skyline these are only random and just basic underpainting.
Colours Added
I started having colour and shapes in the sky, these are intended to be the explosions of fireworks.
Detail Added
I added figures in the foreground indication of depth and be sure that the figures were pointing at the sky. I continued with the colours and tones.
Jon Painting
Here I am applying paint with palette knife, these simple applications of paint are not intended to have any detail.
Completed Painting
Here is the completed painting. The scene was set for the spectators to enjoy the explosions of colour giving the indication of the firework exploding in the sky. I hope you enjoy this little painting.
