Design and Drawing Completed
This painting is the 2nd in the series I designed to be used hopefully as a children’s jigsaw puzzle. Here the design is completed and ready for tracing.
Outlines Painted
After the drawing was traced onto canvas I painted over the outline, it is easier to do this and not to lose any detail of the drawing.
Started Under Painting
I started the underpainting in acrylic paint; this medium is ideal for quick painting and the drying process meant that I could work quickly.

Painting Completed
This little painting was detail painted using oil paints, I do prefer the vibrancy of oil paints.
I am pleased with the finished painting, a light-hearted painting suitable for children.
