Under Painting
This simple beach scene was under painted using paintbrush, just defining shapes and the horizon.
Adding More Shapes Of Colour
After mixing tones of blue and colours for the clouds I applied paint using the palette knife, being careful not to overwork the paint. Adding shapes of colour for the rocks and boulders in the foreground.
